This past week, I toured in Klein ISD in Houston, Texas. I had a great time in five different schools. On Monday, I visited Lemm elementary. Linda Viehe was my host and is the school’s librarian. The students were so much fun!

On Tuesday, I visited Middlestadt Elementary. Rachel Bullen is the school librarian. It was crazy hair day! I saw some of that kookiest and coolest hairstyles!

On Wednesday, I visited Frank Elementary and had a blast with Lynn Morris, the school librarian and her assistants. 🙂

On Thursday, I visited Benfer Elementary. The school librarian, Jamie camp, had a welcoming committee in front of the school for me. How awesome is that?!

At Benfer, I also did a little story time for the pre-K class. So adorable!

On Thursday, after school, I met four of the librarians out for dinner at Hasta La Pasta. Here they are from left to right: Lynn Morris, Linda Viehe, Rachel Bullen, and Jamie Camp.

On my last day in Klein ISD, I visited Greenwood Forest Elementary. The librarian, Rachel Trotter, had a luncheon for me and I dined with a select group of third graders and their teachers. It was a lot of fun.

I mean, how cute are these students?!

It was a fabulous week in Houston, Texas! Thank you to all the awesome students, faculty, principals, and of course, the lovely school librarians! I had a blast!

Until next time…

Warmly, Dianne
